01. SPIRITUAL WORK
Symbol is the great universal teacher. For millenia humans have used symbology to convey their most profound feelings. My spiritual work aims to incorperate such ancient symbology- The apple as wisdom, the sparrow as spirit, the burning flame as intuition. Hands, halos and spirals.
02. PORTRAITURE
Portraiture is an ever-evolving craft. It can never be mastered, only attempted- over and over again. This series of portraits captures my attempt to capture the aura of the human spirit. I relish in the opportunity to sit before a model and observe their unique beauty.
03. LANDSCAPES
Although humbling, painting mother nature in plein air is where I find some my most profound tutalige takes place. It is as I paint the towering mountains and bubbling water I find my place. It is there I become my proper size: small, yet seen by God.
