Introducing Emma Earle
Emma Earle (b. 2000) is a Utah-based painter whose work depicts a variety of subjects including portraiture, landscapes, observational still lifes, and large-scale narrative paintings.Raised on the coast of Southern California, Emma spent her formative years painting in her family’s makeshift home studio late into the night. She went on to earn her BFA in Illustration from Brigham Young University (2026) and continues to refine her craft through atelier workshops, grounded in a rigorous practice of painting from life.
Her ten-foot capstone painting The Torchbearers, a depiction of the Parable of the Ten Virgins, was selected for the Springville Museum of Art’s 40th Spiritual and Religious Art exhibition, where it was awarded Best of Show.
Emma is fascinated by ancient wisdom, particularly the scriptures, archetypes, and myths that have shaped humanity. She believes that these stories hold the unique power to remind mankind where they come from, who they are, and where they ought to go. Her vocation is to weave this ancient wisdom through monumental narrative paintings.
Emma lives in Provo, Utah, with her husband Josh, where she pursues her painting career full time.
